When attending university, the founders, Josh and Sam, had many good friends with disabilities. These friends scheduled people throughout their day (including us) to help them get to class and work. One of their friends had their leg shattered by an 'accessible' door.
Why is a simple task, like opening a door, impossible for many people when smartphones can do pretty much everything else?
As pragmatists and designers, we decided it's time to build a solution that enables all people to have the same level of independence.
The problems we solve each day are mechanical, embedded, real-time, infrastructure, client-side, mobile and extremely difficult. We’re doing pushing the boundaries of physics, designing experiences, and selling infrastructure. And our team members are the best in the world.
We believe the future of physical facilities and its hardware and software systems is adaptive and seamless. We're building the infrastructure that is, and will continue to be, necessary for millions of people and generations to come.
